Integral Advisory has acted for a number of years as the Eastern Africa Representative to the Triodos Renewable Energy for Development Fund. TRED Fund provides funding (equity and mezzanine finance) to new and existing local financial intermediaries in developing countries,TRED also assists new initiatives and provides grants to co-finance business plans, feasibility studies and pilot investments.

» Pre-finance for Africa Clean Energy (PREFACE) Facility is ICA’s new innovative channel
   for funding support to project developers in Africa.

   PREFACE is ICA’s reaction to the frustration of the majority of project developers in Africa,
   who find themselves with good concepts and opportunities, but not the finances required
   to take a project from the idea stage to financial closure.

» Fund management services for funds whose objectives are developmental.
   This includes grant-disbursing funds (for transaction development, capacity building
   and market   development), venture capital funds and investment funds.

» Portfolio services which involve providing oversight on the compliance of terms and conditions
   of investment;  Negotiation of funding agreements, legal documentation management;
   monitoring of financial and reporting covenants; preparation and execution of
   proposals for investment restructuring and exits; business management assistance
   and mentoring to senior management of investee companies; and board representation.
